Helping with Sections PDF Print E-mail

Demand is very high for places in the Group and numbers are only limited by the amount of help we recieve. We are fortunate to have the help of several young people who help with Beavers and Cubs as part of the Community Service section of the DoE scheme, many staying on to help after they have completed any requirements.

We also need adults to help and many do so through parent rotas - we need to maintain particular ratios of adults to children for outside events and many 'hands on' activities need the right numbers. Most appear to enjoy helping out from time to time and some are able to help out on a regular basis. All Adults will be required to undergo a CRB check

If you could be one of these, your help would be most appreciated. Would you consider becoming a Leader? - we are able to provide full training and insurance: it doesn't have to mean a full time commitment - we understand how busy people lives are - any help you can give takes some of the pressure off our shoulders and continues to keep helping fun!

Please contact the Group Scout Leader - Julien LePlain, for further details (see contact section).
