On Saturday 15 March, Monday Cubs spent the morning in the kitchens at Balcarras School where they spent three hours preparing and cooking meals to gain their Chef's badge. The Cubs prepared all the food for the two course meal which consisted of Chicken Breast wrapped in Puff Pastry, New Potatoes, Carrots, Leeks and Broccoli followed by Fresh Fruit Salad.
The meal was enjoyed by over 50 Cubs, Parents, Brothers and Sisters and our thanks go to Balcarras School for the loan of their excellent facilities as well as those who gave up their time to help.
