This years Camp was held at Viney Hill in the Royal Forest of Dean. About 45 Cubs enjoyed a weekend packed full if activities which included kayaking, canoeing, raft building, climbing, cooking, sweet making, games, floating boats.............and yes a very small amount of sleep!

Here we are prepared for the arrival of those lovely Cubs!

Queuing up for Hot Dogs and other delights.....

Games in the hall

Next morning we had an early start (thanks to the cockerel) so off we went for a walk in the woods and then had breakfast.

After breakfast we divided into our activity groups. The first went down to the river to float boats

The second base did backwoods cooking

Others got ready to do water activities

It was quiet on the lake at first............

First we got kitted up for Kayaking

......next was raft building......(those knots were hard!)

then canoeing.........

Is that a bucket I can see? .....let battle commence!

In the evening we had a camp fire and lots of singing

yet somehow we didn't manage to quite tire them out!
