We are one of the largest and oldest Scout Groups in Cheltenham, founded in 1910 not long after the beginning of the Scout movement.
- There are seven active sections, with over 150 members and we aim to offer a balanced and active Scout programme to covering the age range of 6 to 18 years. The Sections are as follows:
Beaver Scouts - Ages 6-8Cub Scouts - Ages 8-10 ½Scouts - Ages 10 ½-14Explorer Scouts - Ages 14-18
Further opportunities exist for Explorers as youung Leaders and indeed Adults as Leaders or involvement behind the scene with the fundraising etc.
The Group has its own Headquarters building in East End Road which was previously the old village school and was bought by the Group in 1954.
