All the subscription money paid by our members is split approximately 50/50 between a national levy which covers insurance, training and support by the Scout Association and the running costs of the different sections.
Maintenance and running costs of the hall and all the equipment used by the group are met by the executive committee's fundraising activities.
Marquee hire is our major fundraising activity, with the marquee's being erected and dismantled by a number of volunteers who would welcome additional help, consisting of a couple of hours of your time on an occasional basis.
The executive committee meets on second Monday monthly (except August) at the Group headquarters at East End Road. If you would like to help either on the committee or with the marquee team, please contact Julien LePlain the group Scout Leader.
