At our open day on 7th May we took the opportunity to celebrate Ted Hughes being a member of the Charlton Kings Scout group for 75 years since becoming a scout as an evacuee in 1941. He has since been a senior scout, leader and committee member and still finds the time to help the marquee team around running archery sessions each week.
